Story
I’m taking part in the Snowdon Push.
This challenge is an amazing experience that brings together people from all walks of life to work as a team and reach one of the highest points in the British Isles, all whilst raising funds for people affected by spinal cord injury.
teams of 10 to 16, including one member who uses a wheelchair, work together to reach the top of Mount Snowdon and back down again, covering approximately eight miles of steep, mixed surfaced terrain.
I am being carted up by my good Friend Frankie Nevin and his local football team (Perranporth FC). Frankie has known me since before my injury when we went to boarding school together and has always been a massive support to me.
Today, six people will be told that they are paralysed as a result of a spinal cord injury. The news will be devastating. But with the right support a spinal cord injury will not prevent anyone from getting the most out of life.
Every donation received helps people rebuild their lives after spinal cord injury. It could provide them with vital wheelchair skills, a place on a rehabilitative courses, or a calm voice at the end of the phone who just understands what they’re going through.
Please consider giving to this great cause.
I will be filming it and doing live videos on the day so please follow my YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@thetetratravels
