Folkestone Downs Challenge 2023 · 2 September 2023 ·

The Folkestone Downs Challenge on Saturday 2 September 2023 explores the breathtaking coastline of south Kent in aid of local hospice care.

Story

Dad passed away on the 4th August 2022 at Ashford Pilgrims Hospice.  Not only was the care for him at the hospice exceptional the support for us as a family at the time was also incredible.

Whilst dad was only in the hospice for 6 days, Pilgrims Hospice provided a huge amount of support and guidance in the lead up to his admission.  This assistance made a huge difference to dad and us at a very difficult and stressful time.

As a result I am raising money for Pilgrims Hospices by hiking 36km (22miles) in the Folkestone Downs Challenge on Saturday 3rd September 2022!Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page and donating to help Pilgrims deliver skilled and compassionate end-of-life care, free of charge, to thousands of people in east Kent every year.Your support is appreciated and so important, thank you.
