Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I will be running the Hackney Half this year in support of RNIB. As someone who has had short-sightedness from a young age, I can appreciate the importance of sight to every day life and some of the difficulties someone without sight would experience.
Fortunately for me, my short-sightedness is easily correctable. However, I will be raising money for RNIB to support those who have sight loss that is not so easily correctable, and to help them live their best lives. A bit about RNIB:
Every day 250 people begin to lose their sight. RNIB has a crucial role to play in creating a world where there are no barriers to people with sight loss. We want society, communities and individuals to see differently about sight loss.
RNIB recognise everyone’s unique experience of sight loss and offer help and support for blind and partially sighted people – this can be anything from practical and emotional support, campaigning for change, reading services and the products tailored to aid those with sight loss.
