We support young people around the world to confront the planet's most urgent crises

Story

Hi!

Thanks for visiting my page! From July 12th, my friend and I will be cycling from Land's End, Cornwall to John O'Groats, Caithness, a total distance of more than 1500km. We will be raising money for my Raleigh International expedition to Nepal to aid rural communities in the Gorkha region.

Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world, and the second poorest in Asia. In 2015, the country was struck by a magnitude 8 earthquake that claimed the lives of over 8000 people. The poor and rural communities were worst affected, and the people are still reeling from the disaster over 6 years on.

My expedition will focus on rebuilding these communities. Your money will go towards resources to build drinking water, handwashing, and toilet facilities, as well as teaching the importance of sanitation to those in need. The work done on Raleigh International expeditions like mine will help to make a permanent change for the better in the poorest regions of the world.

Thank you so much for donating!

Max
