Story
As those of you closest to us know, we lost a very special person in 2022 - our Gramps. He wasn’t just a Husband, Dad, Grandpa & Great Grandpa, he was the head of our family & our best friend. We miss him so much every day.
St Richard’s helped us to look after Gramps during his last days at home and for that we will always be so grateful. St Richard’s ensured that Gramps’ last days were comfortable & dignified whilst supporting our family during what was an extremely difficult time.
In memory of Gramps and to raise money for St Richards, we are taking on The Worcestershire Way 31 mile walk from Bewdley to Malvern on Friday 7th of July. We started training in February & will be updating our instagram account with our progress (@worcestershire_waywalkers.23).
We appreciate all donations however big or small to support the work St Richard‘s do. In an ideal world, the care Gramps received would be commonplace however sadly, this isn’t the case. All money raised for St Richards ensures that the next family who are affected by this awful disease will receive the same support and care as we did.
Thank you
Max, Laura, Annabel & Chris

St Richards Hospice which provides free specialist palliative care for people living with life limiting illnesses is organising this popular annual walk on Friday, 7th July. Although some of the terrain will be challenging, walkers will enjoy the beautiful Worcestershire countryside and certainly finish with a great sense of achievement. St Richards Hospice relies on donations to fund our free care and are extremely grateful to all those in the community who support us so we can continue our work helping patients and families when they need us most.
