Nine year old Preston from Sheffield is living with life-threatening Leukodystrophyand Muscular Dystrophy, which means the white matter in his nervous system isn’t developing properly and his muscles are slowly weakening.

Hespent most of 2014 in hospital with pneumonia and now needs a machine to help him breathe as he sleeps. He is also fed through a tube into his stomach. But despite these challenges, when Preston gets home from school, he likes playing games on a tablet and found a way to operate it with his nose. He also loves painting and uses his toes to hold the brush. But most of all, he likes to be outside where he can lie in the sunshine, play on the swings or push along on his adapted bike. When his family turned to Make-A-Wish UK to grant his dearest wish, they chose a garden makeover to enrich his life for years to come.
