I am joining Cancer Research UK's Race for life for the 2nd year and taking part with my Best friends Amy, Tracy & Adel in Truro on Sunday 12th July. 

I am doing it in honour of my Mum and Dad who sadly lost the fight against the horrible disease that is cancer. My amazing mum was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2000 and was in remission for 11 years, sadly the cancer returned and without the different types of treament avaliable we wouldnt have had all the wonderful years with her. My brave Dad was diagnosed with Bowel cancer and sadly 6 months later in 2001 he lost his battle.

I've seen first hand how Cancer affects so many peoples lives. Without all the research that goes into finding cures for Cancer then many more people would be losing their lives. There are so many survivers that have benefited from all the new treatment they are discovering everyday.
