Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am helping to raise much-needed funds for a very worthwhile organisation VOCAL, a charity that supports carers across the Lothians. Many of us will find ourselves in the position where we provide care for a loved one at some point in our lives- whether it's family, friends or neighbours. This can be a life-changing and challenging experience. VOCAL provides practical and emotional support to help carers in their role and includes information, advice, counselling, advocacy and training.

In a moment of rashness, I decided to volunteer to abseil off the Forth Rail Bridge to help raise funds for VOCAL. In the cold light of day, I'm not too sure what I was thinking, given that I'm scared of edges and ledges! So this will be a major challenge for me! In case I bottle it, I've managed to rope in some of my trusty friends for moral support (thank you guys!). I would be most grateful if you'd sponsor me! Thank you so much in advance!
