Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge · 15 September 2018 to 16 September 2018 ·

This year's Yorkshire 3 Peaks team will be taking on this uphill Challenge on the 16th September 2018 to change a child's life.

Story

I am very excited to be taking part in the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge with the Rosie May Foundation. My visit to the Rosie May Home in Sri Lanka last year provided me with an insight into the wonderful work the charity does in creating support and opportunities for young girls. The home provides a safe environment for the girls to live, learn and flourish. In less developed countries, such opportunities are rare for children, who often come from areas of deprivation with poor sanitation and limited prospects for their future.

The 39.2km walk through the peaks including Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough will be a physical challenge, but one which I am very much looking forward to. I am already preparing for this personal challenge and with your support, I hope to be able to contribute a generous sum to this amazing charity.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated.  Please take time to find out more about their great work on their website http://www.rosie-may.com/index.html
