Story

I bet nearly all of you think I wouldn't be able to complete a half marathon. I'm going to prove you all wrong!

Initially I wanted to run the Yeovil Half as a personal challenge to see if I could haul my lardy backside around the course and cross the finish line. I didn't want to start out running for a charity, get halfway through the training and think "I'm not going to be able to do it" and let people down.

Now I'm halfway through my training, I know I'll be able to finish, so I want to raise money for a worthy cause.

I'm running for Team Macmillan, who support people and their families dealing with cancer. It was Macmillan nurses who took tremendous care of my brother during his Hodgkins Lymphoma treatment.

They do excellent work and any funds I raise will help others have the same level of care my brother had.

Please donate whatever you can and help me raise my fundraising target.
