in December 2021 we were given the devastating news that my Uncle Matty had a rare terminal appendiceal cancer which had already spread to his bowel, liver, spine and peritoneal.

Matty was one of the bravest going through his last year and never complained.

As you can imagine our lives were turned upside down but the love we received from the nearest and to the ever growing branch of “angel humans” got us through the most difficult time of our lives and we will always be indebted to them.

A special thank you to Ashgate Hospice who gave Matty and our family the support we needed at our most vunerable time. Ashgate means a lot to us all which is why we’re coming together to sparkle on Saturday 1st July 2023. The money raised will help the hospice continue providing specialist care to patients and their loved ones. and therefore every penny raised will help other families like us and make a real difference.
