Story
In September 2023, I am doing a tandem skydive in aid of Pilgrims Hospices. I am doing this in memory of my Mum, Marion, who passed away on the 15th May last year and was cared for at Canterbury and my Father-in-Law, Richard and my Grandad, Jim, both of whom were cared for at the Pilgrims Hospice in Margate.
Pilgrims Hospices nurses and support staff provide skilled and compassionate end-of-life care for people living with life-limiting illnesses across east Kent.
£10 could pay for a patients meals for the day. £25 could pay for an hour of specialist nursing care. £35 could pay for their Community Team to hold a video consultation with a patient in their own home. £45 could pay for a one-to-one bereavement counselling session for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one.
By sponsoring my challenge, you'll be helping PIlgrims Hospices to be there for the next family who need their specialist end-of-life care. Thank you!
