I'm back again for another challenge. Last year, I walked across hot coals, but that felt a bit easy.

Foolishly I have agreed that this year I will be trekking across part of the Sahara Desert.

This is no walk in the park – circa 20km per day across the sand, in anything up to 37 degrees. Sleeping in tents under the stars, and yes, there are snakes and scorpions too. I’m already wondering why I do these things.
