Tackling poverty and homelessness have always been important to me. From volunteering in homeless night shelters at University, to being a Trustee of a charity aiming to reduce poverty in the north east and now being a local councillor with responsibilities that include homelessness.

I will be sleeping out under the stars on 13 November and hope you will support me but more importantly those who need it most.
