Late last year we lost one of the most lovely, brilliant, caring and talented people on this planet to Pancreatic Cancer. Claire was my friend, and a friend to so many, and the world is emptier without her.
Just over 20 years ago I completed the London Marathon, and said 'never again, I am done with running'. My mate Robin and I were fundraising together, but I learnt then that me and running are not that compatible. But when Robin asked me to take part in his team running in memory of his beloved Claire, it was an easy decision.
Every £1 that you sponsor me will be matched by my employer, in addition to any Gift Aid. Your support for Pancreatic Cancer UK means their nurses can be there for those affected now and they can fund vital world-leading research and campaign for change.
Thank you for your support.
