And since my day job is all about non-human wildlife conservation, I thought I would do the race for my favourite human charity, Scope.

Scope's vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities to fulfil their life ambitions as everyone else.

I am hoping to survive swimming 3.8 km, cycling 180 km and then running a marathon (42.3 km), hopefully crossing the finish line with a smile on my face in under 13 hours.

Please give generously, even if it's just for the pleasure of seeing me suffer continuously for half a day :)
