Hi everyone! Before you read any further, please watch this intro video! :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSBFNJ8wAjc&feature=youtu.be
So, here we go. On the 10th February 2014, I, Matthew Morton, will be shaving off my (very long) hair to raise money for STOP THE TRAFFIK. No, I won't just be getting it cut short, I will be going *completely bald*.
Human trafficking is a horrendous 21st century crime and these guys are doing awesome work to combat it. As a volunteer I lead the local STOP THE TRAFFIK group at the University of East Anglia (hence my interest in fighting human trafficking, ha) and I see firsthand the awesome work that the guys over at HQ in London do. I also see how money can make or break whether projects can go ahead and from my own experience I understand how vital it is to a not-for-profit organisation.
£3,500 is an adventurous, but (I think) achievable goal, and I'm really excited to see how much we can raise for these guys.
While you're here, go check out their website and read up! :) http://www.stopthetraffik.org
MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THE VIDEO that is posted with this page, that will give you the full intro to why I'm doing this! :)
The Facebook event for this is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/240580586103273 Please share it with all of your friends!
