Richard and myself decided to carry out this challenge as currently one of his mates children are undergoing some pretty heavy treatment for cancer, and both the charites we are looking to support provide an invaluable service for the care of children who need these specialist treatments and respite care.

Walking from Brecon to Cardiff on the outset probably seems fairly tame.

This is to be done in a day ! If you then consider we will be on our feet for approximately 16-18hrs with the risk of missing last orders if we dont get a pace on it is a bit more of a challenge.

Hopefully the sun will shine. We are leaving Brecon at 4am on the Saturday and all being well in the pub for 8 ish.......
