Story

Hello and welcome to my just giving page,

For those of you who don't know, my Dad passed away in March 2016, after battling with Cancer for 16 months. I've chosen to raise money for St. Catherine's to thank them for their support for my Dad and our family. They made a real difference by caring for him for his last few months and made it possible for him to stay in the comfort of his own home.

Unfortunately, this isn't the only loss our family has recently experienced , as my brother Rob passed away in March 2018. St. Catherine's were extremely close to his heart, for the support and help they gave our Dad. With this in mind, I have chosen to run the London Marathon 2019 in both of their memories for a charity that was very close to both of their hearts and is still very close to mine.

I have not run a marathon before and apart from playing rugby, the last time I ran for anything other than the train was at school. Please do keep this in mind when you are being generous with your donations.

St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley is a local charity with big ambition. St Catherine’s vision is for a world where everyone facing death and bereavement can do so informed, supported and pain free. Their team of experts are there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when they need support the most, and they rely on donations to be able to offer their pioneering care. Please donate today and help St Catherine’s be there for people when life comes full circle.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.
