We support 2 great causes to help injured RL players and beat cancer!

Story

Later this year I am taking part in The SPF Chapel Island walk. Although not a massive distance the walk does involve negotiating the challenging and difficult sands of Morecambe Bay. The bay is famous for its dangerous sinking sands and fast moving tides…so I’d better not get it wrong!

Did I mention that I am going to be doing it barefooted?

The Steve Prescott Foundation do some fantastic fundraising for the Christie Hospital and  the Rugby League Benevolent Fund.

am looking to raise around £100 particularly for The Christie. I am very grateful to The Christie for the treatment they have provided to a member of my family in the past and I thought this would be a good way to say thank you to them.

The Christie do fantastic work with people with various types of cancer. It is an organisation that I am keen to support because of their patient treatment and ongoing research it to cures for cancer.

If you could help by sponsoring me, even the smallest amount would go towards making a difference to the lives of others.

Cheers.
