RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Only a few days left to go now.I am starting to get a little nervous but on Sunday I will be off. help me get to £500 by donating today!

Well I have decided to do a bit of a challenge. I have wanted to do something for the RNLI for a few years now and have decided to push myself a little more than normal. What started as an idea after watch 'Walking the Nile' on Channel 4 (It's not that far) has now turned into a full on 86 mile walk from Shell Bay in Dorset all the way to Lyme Regis and climbing the 3 times the height of Ben Nevis. It will take me around four days and along the way I will be photographing locations and images sold will have a donation to charity. It is not until September so I have plenty of time to get into shape for it. I'll be keeping you informed of how you can help raise money for these guys.

After all these guys work as volunteers. They need our support.
