Story
A few months ago my partner Rebecca was diagnosed with Leukaemia, a form of blood cancer. She was admitted to Ward 33 at The Freeman Hospital, Newcastle where she has been receiving treatment.
The Ward 33 staff have been second to none helping with Rebecca’s treatment and also offering myself any support. The Bright Red charity is based on Ward 33 so any help/donations would be greatly appreciated.
Bright Red aims to improve the lives and treatment of people with blood cancer across the north of England. Through care, research and education we are striving to beat illnesses such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative diseases.Every pound raised through the 2023 Great North Run helps us fight blood cancer for a brighter future.
