Story
I’ve pledged to support #DoddieAID in memory of my dad. We lost dad in the Autumn to MND and he would have been right behind me raising money for MND research.
I’ve been doing a bit of running during the last few months so I’ve pledged to run 100miles in January.
Dad really enjoyed watching Doddies Story and would be proud of us raising money to fund research and help people who suffer from this terrible illness.
Doddie's story has touched the rugby world. To fearlessly face down his diagnosis and raise £7 million in 3 years for MND research has been mind blowing. And to have done it with smile never far from his lips, and humour punctuating every call to action, Doddie does inspire. #DoddieAID is a way for us all to do our little bit to help him in his quest to find better treatments for this awful condition, and Doddie being Doddie, we hope it is going to be a lot of fun.Doddie AID is an Inter-District exercise challenge running through January until the Calcutta Cup KO. Any exercise counts, and your miles can be logged into your personal total on the trac4good app. And it also goes into your District team total. Come the 6th February 2021, we will see which District has logged the most miles. Though there are a few other criteria to the competition too, such as Conversions! See www.doddieAID.com for all the details and to join in.
