Matthew Swayne - Mount Kilimanjaro Challenge, 20 October 2017
Inspired by Joss Rowley-Stark the Lewis Moody Foundation raises awareness, helps families create memories & contributes towards ground-breaking research to help find a cure for brain tumours.

Story

When I heard Lewis talk about the appalling stats around brain tumours in the under 40's and the work The Foundation does in supporting the HeadSmart campaign, I knew I wanted to focus my Mount Kilimanjaro climb to raise funds for The Lewis Moody Foundation.

It was truly revealing and Lewis talks so passionately about the people and families he has met through the Family Days The Foundation holds that I had to do something to get involved.

The legendary Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the tallest freestanding mountain on earth. By taking on this challenge I hope to make a real difference to those affected by the devastating diagnosis of a brain tumour.
