Story
Hi Everybody!
This year I'm running the London Marathon on April 22nd. 26.2 miles / 42km of seeing some of London's best sights.. and probably hurting, quite a lot!!! Therefore it was important for me to be doing it for a very worthwhile cause.
Penny Brohn may not be a charity you have heard of before, however, they do a remarkable job for people with cancer.
Penny Brohn's mission is to provide support before, during and after cancer treatment. The charity is organised around providing a whole life, holistic support network. From personal experience my sister Anna had a lot of questions about the conventional approaches when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, but found it hard to get answers. Despite living in the 21st century, our health service lacks a coherent understanding of all the elements (emotions, mind, spirit as well as body) that make up a successful treatment.
Donations will help spread this support to more people, when and where they need it the most.
So please dig deep, and support the amazing work Penny Brohn are doing as 100% of the proceeds go to them. If you would like any further information then please let me know.
Thanks so much for your support!
Matt
