We fulfil unforgettable Special Days to support seriously ill 16 - 40 year olds

Story

It is the 10yr anniversary of Matthew’s sister Helen Pearce (Puddy) passing away with a rare form of Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma Cancer at the age of 24yrs.

Helen was diagnosed at 18 years old, lived life to the full and in her final 5yrs benefitted from many ‘Special Days’ with the Willow Foundation.

Matthew has struggled to deal with the loss of his charismatic sister over the past decade. He has however recently found enjoyment in running. Every day he thinks about his sister and more recently he has been able to speak up about her and smile with affection – despite sitting here crying whilst speaking with us.

Matthew is extremely grateful to have some fantastic friends. One of which is Sean Kellett. Sean will accompany Matthew in fundraising, training, competition’s and ultimately the prestigious Manchester event.

It is never too late to do a little fund raising and both lads consider running their first official marathon on Sunday 10th October 2021 in memory of the beautiful Helen Victoria Pearce (Puddy), a mammoth challenge!

All sponsorship, page shares and messages of support are greatly appreciated.
