Story
This year, I'm raising money for Christians Against Poverty, a national debt counselling charity that offers hope and a solution to anyone who is in debt.
To help me do this, I'll be riding in the Etape du Dales along with Tim Green and Dave Warden. This is a 112 mile cycle ride around the Yorkshire Dales. It takes in some major climbs and is the biggest challenge that I have ever attempted on a bike!
About Christians Against Poverty
CAP aims to show God's love in action by providing sutainable poverty relief through debt counselling, advice and practical help through its network of centres. CAP's unique 'hands on' approach empowers people to help themselves out of poverty and be released from the fear, oppression and worry generated by overwhelming debts. CAP's service also teaches vital budgeting skills that will last a lifetime.
To date CAP has given 45,000 people a way out of their debt. Could you please give what you can to help this work to grow, so that eventually CAP will be able to reach everyone in the UK who is suffering from debt. (CAP aim's to have 500 centres throughout the UK by 2015.)
