Story
Thanks for stopping by and donating.
I thought a little bit of a background would be worth writing which gives you an idea of why I’m running 26 miles on April 22!
As well as being a life goal to run the London Marathon, I am also running to raise money for The Make A Wish Foundation UK a great charity which is incredibly close to my family. My cousin Joe was diagnosed with a very rare form of non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma when he was 16 and underwent months of gruelling chemotherapy. As well as being a huge shock to Joe and the family he accepted it and dealt with it like only Joe could – and is now 5 years in remission. The Make A Wish Foundation grants wishes to children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions and were kind enough to lighten things up for Joe with a new drum kit and support him through his chemotherapy. I am really proud that he will be running alongside me in the Marathon.
Please help us to raise money for those children who may not have very much of a future but who can take great pleasure in Make a Wish supporting them and making some of their wishes comes true.
Thank you so much for your support and DIG DEEP!
