Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm sure you are aware that my little boy Alexander had corrective heart surgery this July at Great Ormond Street Hospital for a defect known as an A.V.S.D.
He has made a fantastic recovery and my little sidekick really is a happy, healthy and cheeky little chap. I consider myself very lucky and am very thankful.
Great Ormond Street really is a very special institution, from the amazing staff to the incredible facilities, we owe the hospital a great debt as a family. You may have seen the fantastic miracles they perform everyday on the BBC TV series.
They do however need £50 million a year to continue the great work which benefitted us as a family and as such, i am going to cycle from London to Paris at the end of July 2013... or 286 miles as the pig runs to raise money for the hospital.
I'm going to fund the cost of the trip myself (£640) so you can be sure that every single penny will go to G.O.S.H.
It's a real challenge and training has started .... I'll keep you all updated with my progress, pains and associated weight loss.
Carpe Diem
