Story
In 1997 I lost my Dad to a heart attack. He was only 53 and led an active, healthy lifestyle.
Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer. It can strike anyone of any age; grandads, babies, mums, brothers and sisters. It turns lives upside down and takes away the people we love without warning.
The chances are heart disease has touched your life, and the money I raise helps the BHF scientists pioneer the research that could save lives and transform the lives of people living with and affected by heart disease.
On October 8th 2017, I will be running the Yorkshire marathon and every penny I raise will help the BHF battle away and get closer to the next life-changing breakthrough.
