We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

I am running the London marathon on the 26th April in aid of the RNIB, a charity close to my heart. My dad started to lose his sight in his teenage years and the RNIB has not only supported him but thousands of others who are registered blind each year. The aim for me is to raise some awareness for the charity by highlighting some of the great work they do and if I can run the London Marathon (without stopping…) for them at the same time, I may be able to convince people to sponsor me.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
