Story
Motor neurone disease has recently become a charity very close to my heart and to the hearts of close friends and family. Seeing people you love and care about go though so much is hard to watch. On the other side seeing how brave they they are and how strong they fight is amazing and truly inspiring. They have inspired me to take up this challenge and do what I can to support them and the mnda Charity, to raise funds and awareness to support all those people and families living with MND. Please share and give what you can to this brilliant charity.
Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. However, not all symptoms necessarily happen to everyone and it is unlikely they will all develop at the same time, or in any specific order.Although there is currently no cure for MND, symptoms can be managed to help you achieve the best possible quality of life.
