Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hi Everybody. Firstly a massive Thanks for taking the time to visit and read my page and please if you could donate anything that would be amazing.
I apologise in advance as my grammer, story telling and spelling is Shocking! My Brother got all that knowledge( for those of you who have read his Blogs he is amazing with words!) but I got all the LOOKS!:-).
Where do I begin writing this? I tell you one thing i really wish i wasn't and I have been sat here half an hour just staring at Annabel's picture! Right here goes!
On December 28th 2012 Annabel Hancox my amazing sister in law lost her battle with Breast Cancer. It still doesn't seem real when i write it and it definately doesn't feel right! Annabel was an amazing wife to my Bro Simon and an excellent mother to Alina,Will and Sam. She was a daughter to Joan, a sister to Tim and the best Auntie to my boys Ethan and Ashton and Tims daughter Michaela and his son Rhys.
Annabel was such a caring person and always put others before herself even when Annabel was in hospital in the last few days she was on the Macmillan forum on her smartphone talking to other Cancer sufferers. Advising them, helping them, just being there and listening. I find this remarkable and NO words i can write down can put this into perspective or give this the credit for the bravery this must have took. This is where Annabel met loads of her Mac mates and along with a lot of them and many others Annabels Angels was formed.
I know i am going off on a tangent here but without Macmillans support to Annabel and my brother and of course the forum for comfort for Annie and for her to assist and help others this would have been even more difficult to deal with. We have met some amazing people through the forum(Annies Mac mates) and we can continue to support each other and many others and i just feel all the support Annabel got from Macmillan i NEED to give something back.
Macmillan do an amazing job and I am sure we all know somebody who we have lost, who is battling and who will battle Cancer and Macmillan will be there every step of the way to support that individual. So if I can raise a good sum of cash and support them in any way I can then i BLOODY will! And if thats dragging my fat arse round a 10k obstacle course four times then so be it.
I have already completed two of the four courses ( Wild Warrior and The Mad Monk) and i have Water Wipeout to do tomorrow (29/06/13) and then Wild Thing in September.
SO PLEASE DONATE AS MUCH OR AS LITTLE AS YOU.
Thanks so much again and apologies for the rambling and poor story telling.
MISS YOU ANNIE. X
