is very grateful to everyone that has donated for this morning's Santa Fun Run. You ignored my warning that passing the £500 mark would mean I'd be Mrs Santa so there'll be photos coming soon. You only have yourselves to blame! Thanks to my lovely wife Ali for making me push my boundaries, to Sarah for running with us and Jules for the false eyelashes !!! We've raised £725 on www.justgiving.com/Matthew-Gaunt and there's more pouring in by the hour. I'll let you know the final number when it slows down. Thanks again. Matthew

Eeek nearly reached £400 which is dangerously close to the £500 target and my Mrs.Santa outfit!!!
Hi everyone,
Our dear friend Jon, was very recently diagnosed with cancer. Since that point everything has moved very quickly for Jon and his wife Carmen. In spite of this they have both been amazing and their positivity and detemination is infectious. They have already received great care from Maggie's Cancer Care Centre and want to start fundraising.
We would like to raise as much as we can for this great charity who will offer loads of support to them both.
So, even though money is tight it would be great if you could spare a little.

***UPDATE***
Since we started this little fundraising attempt Matthew agreed (whilst enjoying a beer!) that if we raise £500 then he'll do the run as "Mrs Santa".
The next morning he wasn't so keen on the idea, but has stuck to his word!
Ali has had much fun getting the outfit!! Who would have thought there were SO many websites that sell mens tights?!!!!!
We only have a few days left to get to our goal!
Please help, not only is it a great cause, Matthew will have to dress up!!
Ali will support him and dress up too if we reach goal!!
