Jack is a very keen wildlife member and protecting wildlife is very important to him. Jack came up with the idea of a 'race for wildlife' after his uncle completed a half marathon to raise money for charity. 

We decided we'd like to raise money towards the Wildlife Trust's Westhay Moor Appeal (https://www.somersetwildlife.org/westhayappeal). This piece of land has come up for sale and if the Wildlife Trust can purchase it, it will form a vital link in the management and future of the reserve.

Jack and Matt are running in the first ever Race for Wildlife - you can come and support us on the day, or set up your own team and join us in the race! 

The race starts at 10.30am on Sunday 15th September - meeting in the car park at Westhay Moor Nature Reserve (Grid Ref: ST456437). 

Whilst there you can also pop round the corner and see the vital piece of land we are hoping the Wildlife Trust will be able to purchase, with a little help from our funds.
