Story
Hi everyone,
Thanks for finding your way to my page!
I'm taking part in a non-stop double marathon on 19th June 2021. The event is called Race to the King and it covers 5,051 feet of elevation along the South Downs between the start near Arundel and the finish at Winchester Cathedral.
I'm hoping to raise some funds for the amazing St Helena Hospice who do incredible work in helping individuals and their families face incurable diseases and bereavement. They rely heavily on donations, and in what has been a particularly difficult year for charities, I hope you'll join me by digging out your bank cards and punching in some details. Those close to me will know that we lost a dear friend just over two years ago, and St Helena Hospice were there for him and his family at that time, so we know just how important their services are. You can read more about them below if you'd like to find out more.
I hope you'll be able to spare some funds and help me get to the target of £524 - that's £10 for every mile! All donations go directly to the charity and I’m delighted that they’ll be supporting me with some kit and some fundraising tips along the way. If the event gets postponed due to Covid, I’ll still be completing it when it’s safe to do so.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and I am grateful for any contribution you are able to make!
Matt
