Operation Smile provides free, life-changing surgery for children born with cleft conditions in the developing world. Without surgery, these children have difficulty breathing, eating and speaking and are left to live in social isolation due to the stigma surrounding their conditions. It costs as little as £150 to provide surgery and create a new smile and happy, healthy future for a child.

Some of you may know but my niece Gracie was born with a soft cleft palate leading to complications with hearing and speech. Whilst she has had the operation at 8 months old, it has made me want to be involved for those not as fortunate.
