I'm fundraising for the CCP Big Sleep Out, sleeping outside overnight for a probably wet, definitely cold, rough sleeping challenge. For me, this will be for one night, feeling chilly, uncomfortable and vulnerable, but for many, this is their daily life. The ambition is to raise money for the CCP hardship fund, which makes a direct impact changing lives. The fund provides personalised grants to tackle immediate financial challenges, helping individuals and families to thrive again. Example uses of the grant include covering food bank membership costs, paying rent arrears, paying travel costs, and preventing eviction, which all contribute to a reduction in homelessness and poverty.
