Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
What am I doing?:
In summer 2012 I am hoping to go to Nepal as part of a charity expedition with DUCK (Durham University Charities Kommittee)
How the trip works?:
In total I have to raise £2800 to cover the cost of my trip.
Firstly I have to raise about £1400 to cover the cost of my flights, accommodation etc. if you want to donate for that here then that is great or you can donate to me in person at whatever event I am taking part in or whenever I see you!!
Then, and this is where you come in, I have to raise an equal to donate directly to the charities mentioned below this is primarily done through just giving but also at any other time!!.
So that’s what this page is collecting for, so please give generously - your money here goes straight to the people who need it!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Here is some history on Nepal and the charity I am raising for Future For Nepal to let you know why I am going:
Future For Nepal (FFN) was set up in January 2004 by Thomas Wells as an organisation dedicated to giving children in Nepal a better start in life. The charity's aim is to provide children not only with a good education, but also a safe environment where all the needs of a child are provided for. Through the medium of educational sponsorship and community projects, Future For Nepal strives to fulfil its objective of helping to give Nepalese children a better future!
So Guys please please donate!! EVERY penny counts, help a child in Nepal today by sponsoring me!!
