Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 12th June i am aiming to run/crawl(!) the Offas Dyke 15 Mile Trail Run  and then the Llangollen 50km Ultra Trail Marathon the following day. Both events are off road with a total ascent of 2,500ft and 7,500ft respectively!

I am determined to raise as much money as possible for the Midlands Air Ambulance. These guys provide an invaluable service which can literally make the difference between life and death to so many people.

You probably aren't aware that the air ambulance are not funded by the Government. They rely solely on donations from individuals and businesses to operate. This year has been devastating for them with COVID preventing crucial fund raising events. For perspective, our local Midlands Air Ambulance have flown over 8000 missions since being formed 30 years ago, with each mission costs on average £2,500.

I will be extremely grateful of any donation, no matter how small!

Many thanks

Matt
