Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As some of you know, I took part in the London to Paris in 2011 and vowed never to do it again... I ended up with an arse like a smacked baboons and could hardly sit down.
But alas, here I am again, subjecting myself to pain and soreness for this very worthy cause - Macmillan Cancer Support.
My dieting, training and ultimately participation in the event pales to insignificance compared to people suffering from cancer. I have lost a few members of my closest family to this horrible disease - most notably my great dad - who put up such a brave fight in trying to beat it but ultimately succumed. If I can help others in whatever way Macmillan see fit in helping and comforting, then I am more than happy to cycle to Paris - sore bum or no sore bum! I know if it were me I would like to know I'd be looked after and helped.
So please, this is not for me, this is for all the people suffering with cancer on daily basis and whatever you can give you know it is needed and gratefully recieved! My sacrifice is the hardest part, donating is the easiest.
So please dig deep and donate now - every penny makes a difference.
Thanks for reading and wish me luck - I think I'll need it again :)
