Story
After watching a friend compete in the London Marathon last year I was inspired to attempt it myself in 2010, not wishing to complete such a daunting challenge on my own I thought I would also rope in my big bro. Although begrudging at first we are both now dedicated to a rigorous training schedule and looking forward(ish) to April.
Alongside the challenge of running we also want to raise a decent amount of money for charity (although like all good radio DJ's we don’t like to talk about that). We have chosen to run on behalf of the NSPCC and as you can see above we have a substantial target to reach. We would really, really appreciate any contributions as they will all make a massive difference to the good work the NSPCC does.

Thank you all for your support and we will hopefully see some of you on the day
Jonny and Matt
UPDATE 11/01/2010:
Disaster! Jonny has had to withdraw from this years marathon due to a back injury suffered in November playing football that refuses to heal. After undergoing an intensive programme of physio and chiropractice in an attempt to get fit he has had to admit defeat and will hope to attempt again in the future.
I would like to apologise to all those that have sponsored me and will reimburse all of your donations if required - of course Matt is continuing to run for the same worthy cause so your money has not gone to waste.
I should also apologise to Matt who I coerced into taking part in this years marathon only to let him down as the big day drew closer - best of luck and I will certainly be there to cheer you on.
