Story
After doing the ‘Palace For Life: Marathon March’ in 2018, wildly underestimating how hard it would be & violently throwing up after - my intention had been to try & do it every year.
However a combination of Covid, work & general fuckery getting in the way means I’ll be 5 years older for my second attempt with my knees, back & general levels of energy, all significantly worse off. Joy!
Significant training thus far has involved an 8 mile walk to the dentist & a climb up (& down) Snowdonia. Happy to report that no post-activity vomiting occurred on either activity, which was encouraging not only for me, but also for my dentist.
Anyway, I know there are so many important causes out there that deserve your donations at the moment, but anything you can spare towards this one will be much appreciated. Many parts & people of South London, are facing brutally tough realities & Palace For Life do their utmost to help alleviate some of that hardship.
You can read more about what they do below.
In the meantime, thanks for reading - and again, anything you can spare will help make a difference.
