I am taking part in a boxing match with Ultimate White Collar Boxing, raising money for Cancer Research UK on April 2nd 2022 at Basildon Sporting Village.

Why?!? 

Well I can't bake cakes, I can't play football anymore (some would say I never could!) and I would rather get punched in the head than run a marathon.

I have always wanted to 'try' boxing but have always managed to find an excuse not to do it. Until I got chatting to Matt Price at a gig, who was telling me about his boxing days. When I told him I had always wanted to give it a go he called my bluff and said "Go on then" and I signed up to UWCB that night. (He was actually very encouraging and super sweet but I am mostly blaming him for the situation I now find myself in)

Like most people, I have known and lost people to cancer. It is a horrible disease and knowing that I can get punched in the face seems like to good an opportunity to give up
