Homerton Hospital has cared for my family and I over the last 19 years that I've lived in Hackney. They safely delivered our 2 children, checked me over and fixed me up after bike accidents, and helped my mother-in-law to be more mobile.  Hopefully I won't need them after I stagger over the finish line on 21st May!

I haven't done any running since school cross-country in 1992, and I wasn't very good at it then. So this is a proper challenge for me at the age of 47! The training has begun..

Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated, even if it's just one pound.
