My last charity run for the Great North Run was in 2017.

This time, I am running in memory of my mam Ann Weaver who sadly passed away in July after being diagnosed with terminal cancer of the liver. I am also running to raise awareness of the fantastic North East Autism Society charity who do a lot of work to educate and provide guidance about autism and ASD. 

As well as raising money for the NE:AS who have kindly given me a place in this year's race.

My family have a history of cancer, so I also want to raise as much money as I can to fight this life changing disease so that we can all make more happy memories for years to come.
