Story
Hello peeps
As some of you may know, November is the 18th anniversary of when I collapsed with what was later diagnosed as a stroke - I know, centre of attention as always.
To mark the special birthday I'm partnering with my gym, the lovely Alive Fitness in Brighton (www.alivehealth.co.uk), to hold a whole day of fundraising for The National Brain Appeal, which raises funds for the fantastic National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery in London where I was treated (and was also a research guinea pig).
There will be Halloween themed fitness classes, a cake sale, raffle and other treats, with all proceeds going to the charity. For my part, I will be completing EVERY class on the day, including:
- yoga
- step
- circuit training
- full body workout
- stretch & core
- weighted training
- more yoga
- plus an hour of personal training
You have a choice - either come and join me for one (or more) classes, and your entry fee will go to charity. OR, sponsor me to complete the whole day.
This is going to be a huge challenge for me because:
- I'm not that fit
- I'm not that young
- Anyone who has seen how I walk will realise how challenging (and possibly foolish) something like a step class will be for me
PLEASE help The National to continue their amazing work, so that others don't have to go through what I have - no one needs that.
Love you all
Matt xx
P.S. Check out the raffle details below - amazing prizes, from personal training to a hair-do and posh products to a swanky Japanese meal - let me know if you want tickets
