Story
On the 17th June this year I’ve, perhaps unwisely, decided to jump on a bike and raise some money for charity. Like many middle-aged men, it's something I haven’t done since I threw my BMX down in the park to head to the swings ….plus it's not for 10 miles but a whopping 100!
Oh yes…..no problems to foresee here!
Not only will I obviously look smoking hot in tight Lycra, like the MAMIL that I am , I’ll also be raising money for the utterly brilliant RAF association.
This wonderful charity has helped thousands of individuals and families for the last 90 years to live fulfilling, dignified, independent lives. It supports people, often at their lowest ebb, to find their feet again.
The men & women of the RAF, like our other services, have often, unselfishly sacrificed so much to make sure, we, the rest of the country can sleep soundly.
I know money is tight and bills are rising, but please donate whatever you can to keep this out-of-shape TV presenter peddling the mean streets of Leicestershire and also, most importantly, to support this brilliant charity helping those who badly need a hand.
