Lands End - John O'Groats

Fundraising for StreetDoctors
At the start of August, myself and 4 friends are cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats over the course of 13 days, requiring a daily average of 90 miles. We are doing this for a variety of reasons: firstly, we'll derive some masochistic pleasure from it (though most likely only retrospectively). But more importantly, we thought it was a great opportunity to raise awareness and funding for a charity that does some really important work across the country. This charity is Street Doctors - an organisation run partly by student medics that a few university friends are involved with.
Violence is the leading cause of death in young people in Europe, and this organisation works to combat this by educating at-risk young people in first aid. This includes how to respond to stab wounds and perform life-saving CPR. Through this teaching, numerous lives have been saved by people equipped to deal with emergency situations. As the charity is a comparatively small one, a small donation goes a long way to support this work and would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!
