Story
Hi All,
Thank you for visiting my new Just Giving page.
http://www.thewestonmercury.co.uk/news/mountain_warehouse_joins_mercury_mendip_challenge_1_1357476
Because last year’s event was so successful and we raised a modest amount of money, i have decided to do it again this year. We're beginning our page early so we can maximize the amount of donations we can raise.
Myself (Matt-Ryan), and my good friend James will be participating in this year’s Mendip Challenge 30 Miler, and yes we will be going the extra mile (Which takes a lot longer than you think)
The Mendip challenge is a 30, 20 or 10 mile walk across the infamous West Mendip Way. Beginning near the Wells Blues School, leading through the Mendips via Wells, Cheddar, Winscombe, Crooks Peak and finishing at Uphill. I and James would like to ask for your support to help us raise funds for the Weston Hospice Care, they do a very good job to help 1000's of people, but not without the support from donations.
I will be accepting any amounts of donations, both in my shop in Weston (Mountain Warehouse) and Online via the Just Giving page. Please donate anything you can, i don’t believe you'll notice 50p leave your bank account, but I am sure to someone else 50p could change their world.
Also, if you would like to donate via phone, then you can simply send a text with the amount you would like to donate. simply text HIKE98 followed by the amount you would like to donate to 70070. for example HIKE98 £1 to 70070 , Theres no network charge, so donate what you can (£1 Minimum for text donations)
Its quick and easy, so please donate.
If anyone is interested in walking the Mendip Challenge then here is the sign-up link, with all the information you'll need to know.

I promise it's not too hard, and i can say it is defiantly worth it. You’ll get to see some beautiful scenery, and dust off those old walking boots you don’t wear. Speaking of which, anyone who contacts me requiring equipment, including Jackets, Trousers, Shoes, Socks, Laces or any other walking type equipment, will receive 10% off when you bring in your valid walker number, after you sign-up for the Challenge.!
I will try to provide updates with our progress, but in the meantime donate what you can and contact me if you have any questions or queries.
Thanks for viewing my page, and wish myself and James the best!
Matt-Ryan
